Clash rules same as last year
Clash format this year as far as heats, LCQ and final race same as last yr -- 25-lap heats, 75-lap LCQ, 200-lap main event (caution laps don't count). Also expect same number (23 cars) in main event with five from each heat, two from LCQ and then one spot on 2025 driver points.

Trackhouse:
Shane van Gisbergen changes from #88 to #97
Connor Zilisch replaces Daniel Suarez. #99 is gone. Zilisch will drive the #88.
Spire:
Daniel Suarez replaces Justin Haley in the #7 car. Haley will drive for Kaulig’s truck team, which will run Ram.
Trackhouse:

Been a crazy off-season, I was wanting a full season points standings to decide championship but I’m fine with what we got. Only thing is I’d prefer 12 teams vs 16.

I like the new setup, only thing I will miss is some crazy driving by one of the long shots to win a race.

I’m looking forward to SVG taking another step on ovals.
Plus I’m anticipating the SVG/Zilisch battles on the road courses will be fun.

I can't complain about this format. Not exactly what I wanted but it's fair and can't argue with the champion anymore.
An underappreciated part of this change is that winning a race will actually be celebrated more. No more interviewing the guy who stayed above the cutline while ignoring the driver who actually won the race.
I really like the 15 extra points for the winner as well.

That pissed me off last year. SVG wins the roval by 15 seconds. 5th win as a rookie. And no one cared. We’re watching the battle for 8th instead.

I love how they used existing sponsorship as "contingency" decals. Brings a classic look back to the car. They also moved the number back as far they could according to the rule book to facilitate that.
