Ask them a lot of rules questions and compare hockey to the NFL. They LOVE that.

You won’t see any other sport get an all star effort like that.

Slavin is a Colorado kid that went to CC.

This is why the NCAA should ban Canadians from NCAA hockey. Our tax dollars flow through those schools. They should be training grounds for American hockey players.

Not even sure how that would work.

Slavin has saved two prime grade A chances tonight. At least one, if not both of those, go in.

Just wow.

Isn’t that what the USNDTP is for? Which also seems to be working pretty damn well

I get the sentiment but its not really needed. The US went the route of a national training center and sorta took parts of the AAU basketball route/Minor league baseball route. We have the best group of young players in our history. Its tough to argue with the success its been.

Feels like we let them linger just a little too long in our zone

Playing really aggressively. Almost like we are down a goal instead of tied. Getting a LOT of looks.

The crowd is nervously quiet. Need to score a goal here and the lid will blow off The Garden.

We're getting close to taking over Canada for a majority of players in the NHL. NTDP is nice for the high end players, I'm talking about building depth. NCAA builds depth for American players.
