This is what I am thinking and it puts him a year further out from the lucrative 2nd contract.

No one's gonna spend a top 10 pick on him next year. He's a headcase, and we all know how NFL teams feel about that nowadays.

I think the entire NFL should join together, not draft him next year, and make him join the CFL

So, you think the NFL should collude to commit antitrust violations? Not a good plan.

But if I were a GM, I wouldn't draft him until the 3rd round knowing his absurd demands and the lost year.

At this point, why do the 49ers still even have an offer to him at all? It's too late for him to help them this year. I say they should just eat the pick and save themselves some money. He could easily wind up being a huge bust anyway.

I wonder if he realizes that he has yet to take a professional snap, and everyone in America outside of Lubbock, Texas hates his fricking guts?

His pride won't let him do that. Sure 200,000 is more than nothing, but if he feels that he's worth a multimillion dollar contract, no way he settles for 200k.

Was just making a point. He's making himself to be bigger than the league and the underlying rules. I hope he signs just so Patrick Willis and takeo spikes own him in practice.

When individuals try and fight the NFL, the NFL always wins. The fire has started, I can't wait till everything bursts into flames.

I know....its what I said and the contract isn't for 200k....its 200k less than what the original offer was. He would walk away from that cause he can be drafted in the rd round and make more.

The awesome part is, every player in the NFL probably hates him too because he thinks he's above everyone else. I can't wait for this dude to sign and get some taste of the NFL.

What the hell is he doing in the meantime?

Training in Frisco.

All of today's indications point to him signing very soon. The win over the defending NFC champs gave us tons of leverage.

I just want to be able to wear his jersey without feeling like a tard.

The hazing stories should be good. Willis is a really nice guy and probably wouldn't be too hard on him, but Clements and Takeo Spikes are gonna be brutal.

Clements should be particularly brutal on him.

According to ESPN Radio, his story is that he was injured which caused him to fall in the draft. He wants the money of where he would have been drafted.

shite if that works, I am renegotiating my work salary.
