I know enough about SAS athletics to know that they would rather not hurt kids and parents feelings than put a winner on the court or feild. Just the mindset of the school from what I know of it. But, its been a while since ive been around it, so things may have changed.

That would explain why for 90% of my game tonight that I had control over (outside of the mandatory substitutions/playing time) I played my best 5.

Yea, last two seasons I've had a winning record. So spare me the lies that SAS doesn't care about winning. Otherwise I'd stop coaching.

ETA: my bench guys tonight were cutting up on the bench so there was secondary reasons. however i find at that age that those who listen, play better.

ETA2: JV had 8 points last night I think. We smoked St. Jude. If it wasn't 8 he had 6.

He and my little brother got in a "fight" and aren't "friends" anymore.

You know how kids are.

To be 12 again...

Either way we spanked the shite out of St. Jude and I didn't call the dogs off...

St. Aloysius has never been that serious about their sports program. I believe Jerry Guillott is still the AD. I graduated in 96 and we did not have basketball tryouts until the 8th grade. The teams were split evenly so even though we had good players we couldn't beat the top teams.
My grade was good at football and only lost to STM in the Bruin Bowl.

Look for SAS to start excelling in athletics as the classes are expanding to 4 sections per grade. SAS and St. George are growing in enrollment and STM is decreasing.
