ASU is one of the worst P5 teams in the country (currently losing to Utah 24-3) and lost to Fresno State, Cal and Colorado...And the #5 team in the country beat them 15-7 two weeks ago.

Because PSU and ND are overrated.
They want the BIG to be seen as the best conference and shows reality is not important.
It’s much like the overblown greatness of the PAC 12 this year. They have not had a great OOC win all season yet are being lauded as the best conference by many.
Their best OOC wins may be Auburn, MSU, Wisconsin and TCU.

If this is your argument, tOSU has 2 wins against PSU who beat no one and a now 3-loss ND that was destroyed by freaking Louisville.
Washington beat a top 10 Oregon and if they beat USC tonight that is likely equivalent to ND.
The point is these rankings are bullshite for everyone. This is why a a 6-plus team playoff means something. You don’t reward this stupid arse scheduling for 4 teams.
