I think the better comparison would be between Orgeron and Gene Chizik. One hit wonders surrounded by mediocrity.

I think the Orgeron story is cool and would be more notable if we hadn't just seen the same thing with Chizik within the decade. Orgeron was a great cultural fit and more entertaining, but Chizik had the Cam scandal backdrop for drama.
