What if the Braves dont trade Doyle Alexander for some kid named John Smoltz?

What if the Braves dont take Tyler Houston in the 1990 draft? The no3 guy was named Frank Thomas.

What if the Falcons dont trade Brett Favre? (I suspect Favre lasts 2 years more in NFL as Falcons sucked.)

What if Tebow went to Bama after all?

Wait, you're saying he completely flames out and is gone from the NFL in 2 seasons?

Also, I feel like we're losing sight of the OP here, biggest in sports history.

I hear ya, but living in Houston, I've heard the "If Colt doesn't get hurt..." more than once

And trust me, no orangeblooded Teasip wanted Texas to beat Bama more than me.

I haven't read the whole thread if this was mentioned, but:

What if San Francisco was able to get Phil Simms or Steve Dils in the 79 draft and didn't have to settle for Joe Montana?

What if the Saints take Lawrence Taylor instead of George Rodgers?

What if the WFL doesn't come along and break up the early 70s Dolphins*. The heart of the team leaves and allows the Steelers' rise to prominence. Wish I could have seen if Csonka, Warfield, etc could have made it 3 in a row. They still had Bobby Beathard as a personnel guy and Arnsparger running the D.

*Corollary: What if Joe Robbie wasn't such a tightwad and allowed the WFL to take his players.

Marlins would have won, the SS would be the scapegoat.
