The U.S. played a great game today, came out strong with confidence, but Brazil just does whatever the frick they want, and there have been few to no teams in recent years that have been able to consistently stop them.

frick. just got back from the bar. fricking 200 Brazilians and 15 Americans there. can't believe we choked that away. They played pretty much a flawless second half

Just to clarify one thing, I think that Brazil could have scored 3 goals against a much better US team (or for that matter Spain, Argentina, England, etc). It isn't as if this was a particularly unique choke job by the US or by the coach.

However, Bradley's subs certainly didn't help.

The US played valiantly, but we did not "choke" or "roll over."

I really don't want to see Bornstein and Casey playing in a U.S. jersey ever again. If Sacha doesn't figure out what the frick is up his arse, he can go as well.

I was this close to actually giving Bob Bradley some credit, but he had to frick it up. You put in a left back for a striker? You take out our only creative force in the midfield for a player who has been slumping?

Despite this, I cannot wait to see the U.S. team at full strength, with Torres, Bradley, Edu, Jones, and Feilhaber in the midfield, we have a great combination of creativity and energy.

Davies needs to get to a better league than the Swedish league because his first touch is reminiscent of Bobby Convey's in the Czech Republic game.

We have found our back line for the most part, and the addition of Hedjuk and Cherundolo should add some depth.

Ricardo Clark is alright, but I think with Jones coming in, he will be eventually phased out of the DM role.

I'm pretty disappointed, especially after the high of the first half. I thought my endless devotion to the USMNT team might be rewarded with a victory that I knew they could do.

How so Ron? What part of that was wrong? Brazil did win the second half 3-0. Should have been 4-0.

What I've never understood is why America never plays well on European soil, but can get good results against teams everywhere else.

Oh well, it was a good game. Good job of the US for even making it to the Championship.
