All he has ever heard is how great he is! He thinks it, knows it, acts it. He is young and spoiled! Where is Nolan Ryan when you need him...a 95 mile an hour fastball between the shoulder blades OR in the ear hole, will shut the kid up. And that's what he will get when he hits the bigs.
This never solves shite. It just causes some player who didn't do anything to take one in the back,...and then the benches clear, somebody get's ejected, fined, suspended and then what? Same shite that's been going on since Abner Doubleday threw 3 bags and a plate out in an cow pasture in Cooperstown, NY in 1839.

Back then they threw cow chips at each other. Drill a smart arse between the blades. Back-em off the plate. That is part of the game. Some win, some lose, some get hurt and go home crying. Act like a moroon, deal with the consequences. I think it's great when young hot heads charge the mound and get buried...or runs into Nolan Ryan. If your teammate takes one in the back because of you, he will let you hear it and you might not act like a dumb rse the next time.
This kid won't do this again though. He is getting bsd press now for the first time and won't like it. He is good enough for his bat to do the talking too.

thanks, thats right. I went full retard
Apparently Harper has done some other shite that rubbed people the wrong way too, sounds like a pretty big douche.
I guess at 18 most would be pretty cocky in his spot, or react to a frick ton of guys trash talking due to the hype (assumption).

I just saw this. What a maggot. I don't think he is that good.

Why are so many people saying this dude has "swag"
I thought society had finally gotten rid of that word.

Dude, you may hate the guys guts but he has been called many times the best prospect EVER. The guy got his GED after the fall of sophomore year of HS, and hit .443 with 31 HR's and 98 RBI as a 17-year old against college pitching.

I bet you want to stop touchdown celebrations too
I would love to see those stopped. They look like a bunch of fricking idiots. Their is no place for acting like an arse in football, or baseball (especially baseball) instead of showing up the pitcher, how bout you go up there the next time and hit another home run. We get it, you're pretty damn good, but nobody is that good to where you can do stuff like that.

If I was that good and people (most likely) talked shite to me all the time about hype I would rub that shite right back into their face. Also a bunch of major leaguers do this shite everyday. Dont hate the kid for showing his age a little.

All he's ever done is play baseball and succeed and hear how great he is, then get drafted number 1 overall at 17 years old. Of course he's arrogant. The Nats should call him up and let him struggle to knock that cocky arse attitude out of him because he'll realize nobody really gives a shite. Then send him back down.
