Assuming Lamar misses next week against the Rams you pencil them in to 1-5 going into the bye. If Lamar is healthy coming off the bye there are some winnable games. I really thought they would make a run to at least the AFC title game. They’ve been awful since that Henry fumble at Buffalo.

having a bad season, drafting in top5-7 could help them fill needs.

Bro they just gave up 44 points to the 29th best scoring offense

It makes zero difference who the QB is, they’re cooked

If they go to 1-5 I think it's too tall of a mountain to climb even with Lamar coming back. Their defense has issues beyond just the injuries. If I remember right they struggled mightily on that side of the ball last year before turning it around late in the year. I don't think the Steelers are more than a 10 win type team, which may help keep them in it.

A high draft pick to add an impact pass rusher and necessitate some changes defensively might not be the worst thing for them long term.

They have like 5 good defensive starters out with an injury. Get them back and there is chance I guess.
