Idk if I play that many, but I have big cards usually with a lot of chalk through around week 3 or so. It seems to pay most of the time

My problem is giving it back on sundays once both seasons are rolling

Tennessee +10 (-120)

I was holding out for 10.5 and it went the other way. UT 5 year recruit average is about 30 spots ahead and 2 year 20 spots. So the more athletic team is getting double digits. You can also rely on WV f'ing up on special teams. UT obviously needs to get pressure on Grier and they can. I see them controlling the clock on the ground as well.

Its a rollercoaster. And anyone who tekls you they always win, are lying. I probably bet 300ish games and came out a around $2500 in the positive.. best year ive had. Year before last i think i lost $700, year before that won $200. You have to ride the highs and lows. My units are only $50 a game though and have 10-15 games bet a weekend. Not counting live lines i hit later in the night when im either a)chasing or b) had a good day and feeling lucky.

This is me exactly. I say to myself, self, I am going to find 2 or 3 games I really like and play those, and that's it. Then Saturday morning by 11:00 I have $50 action on 10-15 games, multiple 3 and 4 team parlays, etc. Then by the time the night games are approaching I'm either chasing or trying to bankrupt my bookie.

Betting a lot for the first weekend, I'm excited. Usually bet 10 games in a weekend, bet 159 games last year for the reg season.

I used to chase just to have action on games, but have gone with an actual strategy the last 2 years that has paid off pretty well, especially earlier in the year. I'm usually between 3-5 games a weekend, a little more the first couple weekends just because I'm excited. There's not much "data" behind it, but I do some rough analysis.

I put a lot of emphasis on Returning Starters (weighted towards QB & D) and Top 50 Overall Defenses primarily as dogs. As favorites, usually don't mess with anything over about -10. I try to find games where teams are strong in those categories vs teams who trend the other way in those categories.

NW last night was a great example at +3.5. They returned 14 starters overall including QB & 7 from a Top 35 2017 Defense. Purdue was a team that only returned 4 on a Defense that finished 52nd last year. It showed on the field. Later in the year, veteran led defenses can keep a team in a game for a half or a 3 quarters. Good opportunity for 1H covers as dogs in the later portion of the season. I may be crazy, but having that as a sort of guideline has helped my decision making the last couple years.

you mean the rationale of it actually happening?

Lol I'm pretty sure the odds this actually happened are about 0, but I'd really love to hear him explain the play (again, this didn't actually happen).

Solid strategy

I definitely place a ton of value on returning starters and seniority.

I have lost so much money on homer Vols picks

The games are stressful enough without money on it.

I have been following Cowherd's Blazing 5 NFL picks for the past couple of years and have done really well.

LOL, my only 2 loses are stupid FCS vs FCS games.

For farks sake, why would you touch them with FBS games going on!!!!!!

And Georgia st was worthless for 55minutes out of 60. Still do not know how they covered.
