Have OSU fans always been this on this current level of douchebaggery? Or is this a recent turn of events?
They are pretty bad. I remember posting on ESPN message boards before I found TD (back in the early-mid 00's), and they were definitely douches back then. It's always been a little brother type thing, since the SEC dominance starting around that same time (mid 00's).

How many times was OSU in a dog fight and Fields put the team on his back an answered the other team’s charge with a back breaker?

Burrow:
Texas closes to within 6 with 3:00 left, Joe hits the 3rd and 17 for a 65 yard td.

Florida- LSU up 7 with about 5 minutes to go, Joe throws a 60 yard td to put the game away

Auburn - 3rd and goal with a 3 point lead early in the 4Q, Joe runs a qb draw for a td

Bama - Bama closes to within 6 with under 4 minutes to go. On 3rd and 2 Joe runs for 20 yards and sets up the game clincher

I don’t like the term “Heisman moment” as in one specific play. But I do think the Heisman winner should have times where he carried his team to victory.

Now do all the QBs that have better stats than Burrow.

Young should in no way, shape, or form garner a first place vote for the Heisman.

Isn't being a "fan" great?

You realize the seasons not over and those stats are incorrect right?

Are you going to try to argue that there hasn't been SEC dominance in champions over the past 15 years? There's only 1 two year stretch where there wasn't an SEC National Champion in that time period.

Champions by conference in the past 15 years:

SEC:9
ACC:3
B1G:1
B12:1
P12:1

Fields is the reason they’re not the best team and the reason Clemson will beat them.

So when you produce incorrect info to blow the Big-11 it’s not dick riding but when someone produces facts about the SEC they are?

Interesting Mr. Nadler, tell me more

Truthfully the fact that media had no idea who was the best Heisman candidate from OSU made Burrow an easy choice.

In any other year Fields, Dobbins, and Chase would have all garnered more votes. This year they split them all amongst each other.

Because they attempt 650+ passes per year while Burrow is still under 440 lol
