Apparently not.
But quite obviously, that IS the way it is. Because they called it a TD live, and then reviewed it, and decided that it WASN'T a catch on review, and changed it.
And you can yell, and kick, and hold your breath until you turn blue and pass out and say "NO", but it wasn't "merely a missed call", the officials actively decided that it was incomplete.
So APPARENTLY, that's not a catch.
Like you, I'm curious what their reasoning was. My guess is that the ball was never brought into the body, was contested by the defender, and in less than a second he knocked it out.
I can see no other reason to reverse it. DO YOU?
