The preposterous thing was Neon saying "these kids are from HBCUs!" when Sheduer was a 4 star that could have gone most anywhere and obviously Hunter had his choice among any P5.

They chose to go to a HBCU. They aren't at a P5 now because Sanders rescued them like he implied.

Sugar can't live without racism being everywhere. Whether it is there or not. More often it's not there at all

Not to mention he left 99% of his old roster in Jackson. Hopefully sugar will come back and explain why.

back in the spring I guess, Rhule was quoted as saying something like "Here at Nebraska, we don't have people with cameras walking around filming us on everything we say." He didn't mention Deion, but he was basically saying he's not an attention whore like Deion is And he was right.

Lanning was asked at a media event if he was concerned about CU leaving for the BIg 12. He responded by asking, “What has Colorado won?” three days prior to Oregon going to the Big 10. I am sure it will be used as motivation.

Colorado "Disrespect" Narrative

And that's why I can get behind them. They'll get smoked by Oregon and USC and hopefully we'll never hear from them again.

LSU got smoked by FSU!

Texas also shot a cannon through his jersey before the game on College Gameday….

It’s pretty ridiculous. The entire CFB media is on their knees sucking “Coach Prime” and his boys off and they’ve convinced themselves they’re being disrespected. Straight up laughable

Yeah, I've grown to pulling for them to hoping they lose the rest of their games.

Sue me.

Your jealousy is showing. No one cares about Grambling.

I sat for a decade in my season tickets at Folsom Field but now I'd be concerned a Sanders family member might come lecture me on how I disrespected them in some way. Every comment, every glance has to be deconstructed now for "disrespect". To me, it feels feminine and weak. And the thing is, you can only play that card for so long until people just start rolling their eyes at you.

True. But the only people he really needs to buy into it are his players. So far, it appears they are and it is working.

Soon you'll see what always happens...over-saturation by the media...which will start to turn people off more than the "disrespect" angle. Fox is once again highlighting CU as their headliner. Only this week CU is not the underdog. They should beat CSU this week...which will set up MASSIVE hype for CU in the following two weeks when they play Oregon and USC.

Beat Oregon and USC, and the "disrespect" angle goes out the window. At that point everyone will (even begrudgingly for some) "respect" you.

The coaches that vie for the Eddie Robinson & Buck Buchanan awards beg to differ. Southerners are very weird about HBCU'S because they hate to face the reality of their past & these Black athletes they would have spat on instead of allowed on campus.

Grambling has 5 Hofers in football( Willis Reed in Bball) & a very extensive list of All pro & Pro Bowlers. I'm jealous of Brian Mitchell & a directional Louisiana school that had to rebrand because no one knows who the hell they are ?

But the QB showed no class after the game. You won. Be gracious. The rotten apple doesn't fall far the tree.

Absolutely HUGE turnoff for me.

He literally made up this narrative with Rhule who is a good coach and didn't deserve that.

Pissed me off. I hope they lose every game.

Yea I love the LSU fans who are all about "class" and shite like that when it comes to players celebrating or talking shite.

LSU was flexing on Vandy in 2019. And LSU fans loved it. Burrow was the cockiest mf in cfb in 2019.

No, I don't remember any of that because I don't follow Jackson State at all.
So you admit to having strong opinions about a subject that you are ignorant about? Shadeur & Hunter have certainly heard it & they are enjoying reminding everyone. Good luck to them & their SWAC development & crushing p5 competition day one. Hope they are the 1st to share a Heisman if that's what they want.

Sheduer Sanders/ Travis Hunter are elite athletes who could have gone to basically any school in the country

I don’t understand the disrespect/ victim angle but whatever works I guess

I admit that Jackon State is irrelevant in a thread about Colorado. Also irrelevant is your opinion about "strong opinions." The media loves Colorado, who are these two kids mad at? Be specific. The answer cannot be myself or other message board persons. And, go!

I love how you and others allow zero nuance in your life

Burrow was EXTREMELY cocky during games and on the field. Can you show one incident when he wasn’t extremely gracious after the game to the other team players or coaches?

All/most of his post game pressers?

I can’t think of an instance where he was more or less gracious/respectful than the average player in the post game. Not really notable either way on that.

Now pregame is a different story, and burrow was a cocky sonofabitch pregame.

If a person is really that upset about Shedeur’s comments they are incredibly soft.

I’m laughing at all the people on this site who have trashed sanders and have said for months that he will crash and burn in CO along with his son. Now they are 2-0 and those same people are talking about manufactured disrespect or some shite. It’s comical. Sanders and CO have a better case for “being disrespected” than 99% of teams that publicly claim they’ve been disrespected.

Funny how so many here crying about CU don't have the same energy for Kirby Smart’s constant claims that UGA is being disrespected.
