Could have gotten out of that inning with fewer than 50 pitches. Instead he's over 60. Maybe it's a lack of feel for the curveball but Lance isn't getting strikeouts like he typically does. Can't finish these at bats.

As hard as we've hit Mengden, he threw one less pitch than McCullers threw 4, and that includes 2 outs in the first 3 pitches in the 1st for LMJ

I was so down on Gattis early that I don't feel right about getting too excited now. LOL
I gave him no chance at DH after his horrible start, b/c he historically hit so much better as a position player, and his production suffered when only hitting
