3-4 Road trip against the Os and Phil's.
4-6 in this tough stretch of schedule with the Royals yet to come.

With the emergence of Blanco and now Arrighetti, combined with Framber’s performance thus far in the 2nd H (post Maldonado), Dana is going to have a huge spotlight on him this offseason, only magnified by the Bregman outcome.
The Yed and Cristian Javier signings in front of Tucker and Framber are reminiscent of Bregs before Correa, and we know how that ended.
Brown now figures into a solid future rotation too, so how does Dana handle things? I think he lets Framber and Bregman walk. When Tucker inevitably turns down a reasonable long term offer, does he move him while he has legit value?
Where does he decide to invest? Abreu, LMJ, and Montero off the books after next season. Maybe the biggest question is does Dana Brown even make any of these decisions. LOL

I really think we need to make a genuine effort to resign Bregman. At this point, I have no issue with dealing Tucker in the offseason.

tough stretch
The whole season is a tough stretch when you field a 4a roster 80% of the time.

My sweet baby Chas has been thrown out with the bath water. I blame the DAT for being so hard on him. If any of you cocksuckers had simply sent him some ice cream, think about how many games up this team could be.

Those FO cocksuckers just sent my boy Chas down to AAA.

You beat me to it.
Poor bastard can’t win for losing. Finally hits a homer and gets demoted

I was wondering if sending him down may build some confidence. I think that big fly could’ve only helped. I hate it for him. He can be a productive piece, but he hasn’t earned that this year. We will see if the new guy can.

LFG Astros. Be useful for once.

Agree on both. I really liked what he had to say about his play this year. Didn’t try to sugar coat it. And the tweaks that they’ve been saying he’s trying to make will be easier to do in SL. It’s like trying to mess with a golf swing in the middle of a round instead of on the range.

Should’ve sent Dezenzo down IMO

Bregs WAR is like 3.5
With his defense and durability this year, he’s signable for an Altuve-like contract, but he wants more
If he didn’t, he wouldn’t be struggling to hit .250 trying to pull the ball all the time. After he gets his money, you will probably get .275 to all fields and he will be worth Tuve money
But he won’t age well. His margin for error is slim with only pull power

I’d like him for 4 years and if it has to be 5, do it. But the deal does need to make some sense and not throwing good money after bad (LMJ, Abreu, Montero).
