Beyond the top 5 guys at SS, who I don't see Click/Crane spending on, I don't see anyone as an obvious upgrade over Aledmys. I thought Simmons might be but his offense last year was apparently Maldy-ish. Hard to score runs with two automatic outs. One is bad enough.

We would be selling quite low on Bregman. Doesn’t seem like a great idea. He’s not a SS anymore though, Diaz is better there than him. With the rules for service time likely changing I think we could see Pena opening day if they think he’s ready

Supposedly Pena is ready defensively, so based on Diaz's finish to the '21 season, if Pena can have a good Spring offensively and there's no service time issues, I can see no reason not to have him in Opening Day lineup

The CF market and really the OF market at large kind of sucks. There's some higher cost guys like Marte and then guys that don't move the needle much.

I would assume a lot of due diligence before any deal for Rodon.

Wonder if he had labrum / bursa capsule reconstruction?
I had that 25 years ago and my shoulder has never been worth a damn after. Lost about 40% range of motion and hurts all the damn time.
Hope that young man recovers better than I did.
