You're right. Good problem to have.

You're also right. Stinky in the bullpen til Lance comes back.

Watson to Browns and Correa to the Orioles would be a hell of a thing.

Well, if Correa has to be anywhere but Houston, let him rot in Baltimore
But he ain’t about that life, IMO

So have the Astros signed Correa yet?

Tyler Bauer now a big fan of Deshaun, and it ain’t only bc of the Cleveland connection.

I do think it’s interesting Watson can pick his destination, but Bauer is in weird spot where he’s getting black balled by the league.
Watson had 20 women come out against him, Bauer had 1 chick he had aggressive consensual sex with

Bauer is being screwed and not in the way he likes. We may not like him and he can be a dick but the way the league is treating him sucks.
He has never been charged and did nothing wrong but allegations are going to keep him suspended.

Agreed, shoot I’m coming back around on Bauer. Similar to Kyrie they are annoying assholes but I’m appreciating how unapologetically themselves they are

Starting to feel like we're dragging our asses on other moves while Correa figures his shite out. Still need another bullpen ark and several have been locked up in the last week.

Not trolling this time. Here it is

MLB source: Free agent shortstop Carlos Correa has reached an agreement with the Minnesota Twins on a three-year deal worth $105.3 million with opt outs after the first two years. Highest average annual value for an MLB infielder

Damn. The Astros really couldn’t give him that number? Wonder what the reasoning behind that would be.

I’m completely lost.
3/135 was what he went with? That’s the best he could get? Why such a short deal? Unless the other offers out there weren’t true. This deal makes zero sense, unless Correa just wanted out of Houston no matter what. But I would have imagined there were better long term offers than this.
Also frick Crane. I understand losing him to some 10/300 million deal to somewhere like Baltimore but you couldn’t even match a 3/105 fricking million? For your top overall franchise player?
You let Springer and Cole walk and the justification wa to pay someone like Correa. Cheapass will probably do the same with Tucker and Yordon

The Browns and the Twins...what a weird arse day.

True, wonder if we are just pocketing that money

Opt outs after the first two seasons. I’m assuming the Astros weren’t going to agree to that.
