Apparently it's a cutter, which could play up. Having a sharp breaking pitch into righties is really going to tie a lot of dudes up if they are trying to reach to get his sinker moving away from them.

I could see Pena having a tough adjustment early on to MLB pitching with how few minor league ABs he has. I hope our fearless leader doesn’t start doing dumb shite like sitting him for BADrum because of it

Huge mistake hitting Pena leadoff. Put him down and let him build confidence with no pressure. We need good defense and some sporadic offense. He has not faced the level of pitching he's gonna see in the show. Give him a year to adjust.
