LINK

First time the team hasn't made the playoffs in a decade and this is what you're thinking about?

Maybe new ownership would consider a Luhnow 2.0, but of course the league has now discouraged his process in the way they handle the draft, etc

Sorry about the link there.

I was trying to quote DalenSA's X link

Not in my wheelhouse evidently, but might be the first time I've provided a link, and it happened by accident.

Goddamn. Pete Alonso to Baltimore. Seems like an odd place to end up. 5/155

I too have minimal interest in Christian Walker.

Make it stop. Every team that misses the playoffs does not need a new owner.

Got a scrapheap Rule 5 guy with a 6 ERA. Maybe he can be the next Tayler Scott. Didn't think they would add a Rule 5 guy with their 40-man situation, but this will now make the 40-man full for the time being.

Just an absolute ridiculous walk rate for this lad. 51 BB's in 93 big league innings

Stealing this from someone on Twitter, but can't remember which dude, but the Alonso to Baltimore signing COULD make teams like the Red Sox and Mets listen in on C-Walk if they are desperate for 1st base production.

Don't think the Red Sox really have any expiring contracts that they'd swap, but I wonder if the Mets would be willing to swap Senga?

Yeah, no shite, Haircut

It was meant in regards to the fantasy of a Luhnow return, or someone like him.

Seasons greetings to you all with the best free agency news we've had all off season. Aroidis Garcia has left the American league to sign with the Phillies. We'll face them in 3 games next year. Good riddance.

Brito and Melton seem like a lot just to get Mike Burrows..no?

Brandon Lowe is the best player in the trade and were paying the prospect cost to the Rays for him to go to Pittsburgh?

Brito seems like a lot based on AFL reports and the buzz around him, but if they like Burrows they are still getting a ton of service time with someone that at least has some MLB run.

Melton can take or leave. Bat may end up there, great defender and athlete but could very well be a JAG, which the Astros have a ton of in regards to position player prospects.

That’s a lot to give up considering the Astros don’t have much. At the same time it seems like prices are controllable SP are high and Burrows is promising

Melton was an absolute zero at the plate. Not sure about Brito but getting a young back end starter with 6 years of control isn’t bad.

Looking forward to grinding some Burrows tape with new little Jose-Carlos Yordan 91 when we go home from the hospital for the first time this afternoon.
