AD defender is going low to tackle a QB, QB goes low as well. The the crown of the helmet of the defender makes borderline forcible contact.

Captain of the defense.

Ejected.

Completely ridiculous, and I don't have a dog in the fight.

Sort of a lame "position protecting" call....otherwise you could call that targeting against any linebacker on a RB with a run tackle up the middle.

Yep. Threw out our MLB on a routine cleanup assisted tackle.

I don’t get it. No one, not fans, players or coaches want players ejected for it. Why is the NCAA still doing it?

Then the massive, ridiculous uncalled hold on our DT on their final TD catch. Very frustrating game to watch.

No matter, this defense isn’t good enough to take this team anywhere. Chris Ash sucks something fierce.

The penalty discrepancy was huge, but a large majority of TAMU’s were pre-snap. The terrible targeting and the uncalled hold changed the game.

It's insane a defender can be diving at a guys waist and ultimately get called for "targeting the head or neck"

If someone ran into a shooting range and dashed in front of a target, pretty sure the shooter isn't the one who screwed up.
