you are as deluded as Ditka it would appear

Here are the broader issues that ESPN, Fox, other media refuse to address. Black on Black crime, fatherless black children, welfare, unemployment, etc

The "police brutality" thing is just a distraction from the real issues.

Stats prove it, but let me help you:

990 cop killings last year, not murders, killings. Vast majority were justified. Over 50% of those killed were white. Black cops shot their weapons 3x's more than white cops.

The number of shootings(not killings, shootings) in Chicago, NO, Atl, and NY by citizens were more than all police forces in the entire US combined last year.

It's also true more cops have faced trial for shootings more the last two years than previous years. A good thing.

The whole thing is just a look at me protest bs. And it's a misguided ignorant protest at that. I'll say it again, Kaperdick's protest is more about his love of islam than anything else. And one day he will admit it.

And not one reporter asked Kaperdick to reference how the flag is a symbol of oppression for blacks. Only Bob Ryan called out Kaperdick for that comment.

We can discuss the VERY few incidents of a minority being shot by a cop simply for being black when they quit slaughtering themselves in the streets of every major city in the U.S.

Wait, what? We can't discuss more than one problem at a time?

Do you realize how ignorant it is to use black on black crime statistics as some sort of counter argument to justify the police killing someone because they're black? They're both atrocities in their own right. Dismissing one or the other because you don't have the intellectual capacity to walk and chew gum is abhorrent.

"Get the hell out!"

That's what Ditka yelled to staffers who said he shouldn't trade 20,000 draft picks for Ricky Williams

Their whole stance is a racial oppression stance. That whole stance is bullshite. Case closed.

Tinfoil hat on

I've heard this same opinion countless times in the last few years. It leads me to believe that BLM was a movement created to obscure broad issues with respect to LEO training and militarization by throwing race into the mix and it is working wonders on the general public. As long as cops don't kill black people at a higher rate that white people, everything is hunky dory and no one seems to care about the killings at all.

replace bullets with something less lethal. tazers suck.

use the bean bag projectiles for some cops that may not be the best for extreme situations.

give higher trained cops the ability to use guns.

I just change the channel if it comes up, so I haven't kept up with much of this. Has Kaep come out and said things with actual substance about what he thinks is wrong with this country? Or is he just making the same blanket statements that BLM does? Or has he said much of anything?

The great thing about America is that you can also, ya know, not leave the country.

frick that. The real problem is that LEOs of any race kill folks of any race and often do so with impunity. Take the race out of it and there is in fact a broader issue.

It isn't even just about killing people. The way the police are operated and run in this country is a fricking joke. From killing people when they don't need to, down to little things like speed traps. It all needs to be addressed.

CK and folks like him are shite on because they are selfish, stupid, and probably racist pieces of shite. I've completely stopped caring about any problems they have.

Gonna go all Sweden here and be neutral.

I agree with what you're saying here. And also, when someone brings up the issue at hand, and the respose, "but black on black crime," all you're doing is deflecting from the possible issue at hand, that's not helpful.

Now all of that being said, I can see how a white person(I am white and ponder this sometimes as well) can look at all of this coverage and sit there and wonder why these same folks don't show any outrage and aren't protesting and trying to fix the whole black and black crime thing, considering the disparity of those statistics.

Oh how ironic you would take this stance.

I bet I could go on the Poli board and read about how you and others think this country has gone to hell in a handbasket. Why don't you leave?

Did you get mad about the confederate statue removals/school renaming? Or did you support our country?

So it doesn't matter if people feel the same way, only those that kneel should leave the country?

Is that really the stance?
