fricking Cardinals. I'm convinced they have a deal with the devil.

To pry him away would take great prospects, eating a shitload of terrible contracts (HELLLO CARLLL COME ON DOWWWWWWWWWWWWWWN).

Trade Lee and Webster for AGonz then sign Josh Hamilton to a huge contract in the offseason. You win World Series titles with offense

You act like that's a high price for one of the best hitters in baseball. Lee and Webster are good prospects, but they are FAR from a sure thing. Lee has pitched like shite in AA (ERA over 5 and under 7 k/9) and Webster is a fringe top 100 prospect. They already have Kershaw and Bills. De La Rosa is just coming back from injury. Lilly is about to come back. Harang and Capuano have been great. They have 4 relievers with over 40 appearances and an ERA under 3. They have had a ton of success bringing in older pitchers over the last few years.

So yeah adding AGon to their offense could win them a world series if they continue pitching the way they have.

It's certainly a great deal for the Red Sox that's for sure.

Also, the Dogers were awarded a claim on Josh Beckett. Looks like something could definitely be in the works. LINK

reports out are saying the Dodgers and Sox are talking a deal for A-Gon, Beckett, Crawford, and Punto

Meh.

Good hitter having an underachieving year in Gonzalez, a one armed man in Crawford, a drunk(who likes Chicken) in Beckett and well, Nick Punto

Dodgers dont have the pieces unless they pull from their MLB roster. Ethier, Hanley, Billingsley. Which wouldnt make sense, taking on Crawford when they are trying to win this year
