He fits Louisville and Petrino

Petrino loves his mobile qb's

He'll stay one more year and split time. He's actually a better fit when playing teams that bama is clearly better than, because he can run a little and throws the ball away when he should. Doesn't take sacks or turnovers. The freshman is clearly a better passer so they need him vs teams that are close in talent when they actually have to score. But he should have cost them the game last night taking that huge sack in ot. I can see a 2 qb system working there at least for 1 year.

Given his track record, I would be very surprised if he ended up at a G5 school.

Think he transfers to another major school in a big time conference. Or goes Juco/d2 and then comes back up to a big school

He's had one mobile qb during his coaching tenure (Jackson).

Yeah I was gonna say I can’t really remember who was during his first Louisville tenure. But all the Arkansas QBs and Will Gardner were pro style pocket passers

ETA Brohm of course

The only person that would come close besides Jackson would be Stefan Lefors.

Hurts would be good at Navy or Ga Tech.

He will be playing football somewhere next year as a quarterback.

So you think he'll transfer to a JUCO or lower level program? He'll have to sit out a year if he transfers to the same level.

gtfo

Hurts takes horrible sacks and fumbled about 15 times his freshman year. The game will slow down for Tua and he'll be more careful with the ball. And he runs just fine.

He would work perfectly for Bobby Petrino and what he does.

No he would not. Petrino's offense is predicated on throwing the ball. Lamar Jackson's limitations as a passer held them back at times. Petrino himself even said "we get exposed if we try to line up and throw it every down." In games where their run game couldn't get going, they got blasted.

His successful QBs at Arkansas were Ryan Mallett and Tyler Wilson. Neither was mobile and both were tremendous passers. His offense was most effective with Mallett who was as mobile as a refrigerator but an elite passer.

And until that happens...they'll split time. Like I said.

Then Hurts may transfer or switch positions like the Ohio state qb a couple years ago. But not this year.

He goes to an ULL type school which is where he always belonged.

He's 25-2 as a Fr/Soph starter in the SEC.

He's won an SEC championship, 2 CFB playoff games, and has started in 2 National Championship games.

This statement is beyond idiotic.
