…Because targeting is an inconsistent BS call. You can’t complain that it’s hurting the game and then gripe when it isn’t called. Asking for it to be unnecessary roughness is just sad. The QB was carrying out a fake and was moving toward the defender.

And called like that all year. The Miami play was hoenstly one of the worst targeting plays I have seen
It wasn’t some accidental contact on a fast moving play where a ball carrier lowers his head

Mendoza was not defenseless and was not throwing the ball.
