Again, as sad as it is to accept, Aggie fans are more decent and respectable than USL fans. Trust me on that one.

I root for teams with at least somewhat respectable fan bases, and it takes some crappy fans to make the Aggies look that way, but USL's fans do the unthinkable.

you can't possibly be from louisiana.

no fricking way.

go ahead, pull for the aggies.
they deserve you.

never fails.... someone's panties are always up in a wad.
Everyone needs to remember that lsu has the same type of fans that ULL has.... annoying assholes who don't shut the hell up and won't pull for any other state school, b/c they have for whatever reason an extreme hatred for these schools. The only difference b/w the shitty ULL fanbase and LSU's shitty fanbase is that ULL has far fewer fans and these assholes stick out much more. I went to both schools and I used to hate to go to both teams baseball games, b/c of these people. I would position myself as far away from people as possible. If i couldn't I would just call them out on the fact that none of them even played baseball other than in highschool.... usually shuts them up. Oh and yes I did play.

Ummm... despite being born and raised in Louuisiana for almost my entire life, I've also interacted with fans from both A&M and USL on a regular basis. Your fans and alumni are so hung up on being like 5th fiddle in the state, you are just full of assholes who can't handle that USL is not better than most of the other programs in UL system or LSU system.

Aggie fans are crazy but their passion is legitimate and NOT rooted in a inferiority complex. I support all other Louisiana teams outside of USL and Tulane. It'sthat simple.

yeah okay. That's why we beat ULM in football. And swept the baseball ball team twice.

This goes well beyond sports buddy. If you think my issues with the school are purely on an athletics level, you've really got some issues. Doesn't surprise me though. This is about the university as a whole.

Top Five Schools in Louisiana
Tulane University

Founded in 1834, Tulane has become one of the most selective and prestigious private universities in the country. The university has 6,491 undergraduate students who are active in the institution's numerous research activities. Students can choose from degree plans in tropical medicine, social work, architecture or any of a dozen other programs; and students also have the chance to study in a city as eclectic as New Orleans. Tulane University is currently ranked #50 on US News and World Report's list of America's Best Colleges.

Louisiana State University

Louisiana State University held its first commencement in 1869 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, the heart of Cajun country. The university has since grown to offer almost 200 degrees in a wide variety of disciplines. Currently, 24,583 undergraduate students are enrolled at LSU, many of whom study at the university's renowned colleges of engineering and veterinary medicine and marine institute. It is one out of 21 universities within the U.S. to hold space-, sea- and land-grant status.

University of Louisiana at Lafayette

The University of Louisiana at Lafayette was founded in 1900 as the Southwestern Louisiana Industrial Institute, and went through several name changes before its final founding in 1999 with its current name. The university offers 80 undergraduate majors to its 14,923 undergraduate students and has a unique focus on the French-based culture of south Louisiana. Much of UL's research is based on preserving the wetlands of Louisiana as industry and population continues to strain this precious resource.

Southeastern Louisiana University

Since its founding in 1925, Southeastern Louisiana University has focused on providing an outstanding educational value for its students, who come not only from the local area but also from many foreign countries. The university currently offers 52 majors to its 13,544 undergraduate students and has a reputation for small classes taught by faculty, not graduate students. SLU is located in Hammond, Louisiana, a classic college town that welcomes students and enjoys the many cultural activities put on by the university throughout the year. The university provides an environment that is technology-rich, allowing students to check out DVD camcorders, zip drives, projection equipment, laptops and digital cameras.

Louisiana Tech University

Just 80 miles east of Shreveport lies Ruston, LA, the home of Louisiana Tech University. This beautiful, quintessential college town welcomes the 9,000 undergraduate students who come to study at world-renowned Louisiana Tech every year. LTU is a selective institution that provides a challenging, yet supportive atmosphere for its students. While its focus is on the natural and applied sciences, the institution offers many other majors and a solid liberal arts education. It awards semester hours, but operates on the quarter calendar. Most classes are 20 minutes longer and an undergraduate student is considered full-time if taking a minimum of eight hours of class time.
