To arrive as a head coach?

Imagine if he got the opportunity at around 40 or 50

I’m watching a saban clone

Many many schools are going to be kicking themselves for a very long time for not hiring him

Because no one wanted to hire a 61 yr old HC.

It took him 15 yrs to get a big time league after being pigeon-holed as a recruiting guy/position coach for his career.

Dude took the leap late. Who. Cares. He's the best CFB coach in history.

not the best in history but he’s easily the best coach in the country

he said so when he was hired. “I win everywhere. Google me”

He seems like the kind of guy that could win championships and not even take a moment to celebrate

He overcoached, I'll cede that.

But to say he's losing his ability as a coach is flat out retarded. I know it wasn't you who said that, I'm just making a point.

No, he's just either retarded or he gets caught up in the moment too much.

Nick will go down as the greatest but he wouldn’t have done what Cignetti has done at Indiana.NS didn’t doesn’t have the same mindset as CC and the portal and nil.

Do you think Nick would have eventually won a National title if he stayed at Michigan State?

TBF, NIL/TP allows you to build a program much faster. Ten years ago, Not even Cignetti takes a terrible Indiana program to the playoffs in year one. Even Prime won nine games at Colorado in 24’ and beat a ranked team on the road in game one.

Wish Bama had hired him two years ago but maybe by the time Saban retired he'd already accepted the Hoosier job. That would've been totally unfair for the rest of the country to go from Saban to Cig.
