Im not one saying that TCU doesnt deserve the win...I go to a non AQ school that has a solid football program, so yalls win only helps the rest of us.
Im just saying for a list of teams that lost to teams on your schedule, its not that impressive

Miss St. would not. Their lone SECw came against Ole Miss.

I'm not saying that TCU isn't a above-average/good team, it's just they aren't an elite team and some people act like they are. I get that it's "not your fault you play a bad schedule", but you chose to be in that conference and chose to only schedule 2 BCS teams - one of which hadn't been to a bowl since 1996 - and you expect us to give you the benefit of the doubt. Not going to happen, despite what ESPN may tell you.

Once agin not knowing what you are talking about.
1. TCU did not want to get left out of the big 12 when it formed but they did not get a choice. the decison was political.
2. Texas was scheduled this year but backed out as was texas tech.
Wrong, dominating all of your opponents, and beating what many were heralding as the best team in the nation and the worst possible matchup for TCU on a national stage earns TCU respect despite the beliefs of a fan of a team finsihing in the middle of its own conference.
and on that note, I'm done.

I will give you guys credit. I thought it was going to be an easy win. I'm surprised how tough TCU's defense was.

If they truly had their choice, they would be in the Big 12.

The team that beat Mississippi State and Alabama would go 12-0 with that schedule. On the other hand, the team that showed up for North Carolina, Tennessee and McNeese State would go 9-3 or 8-4 with that schedule. The Auburn team that struggled with Clemson and Kentucky would have gone 10-2 with that schedule. On the other hand Alabama's worst performance, the South Carolina game, probably would have been good enough to go 12-0 with that schedule.

While you were dominating the powerhouse known as Wyoming, we were beating the number one team in the nation at the time. You did absolutely nothing special to get to the Rose Bowl.

Were they a hot team? Sure. Best? No. Big wins vs. shitty/mediocre competition does not make you the best team in the nation - despite what you and your ilk seem to think.

if it wasn't for this good media contract, I'm sure our fanbase would love to change conferences with you. 12-0 every year with no challenges whatsoever would be great. Unfortunately, we play in a conference were our opponents are worth a frick, something I'm sure would be a culture shock for the school who has championed Wyoming and New Mexico this year.
Either way, anyone who is more than a drive-by fan of college football and can think outside of what ESPN spoon feeds them would tell you that my middle of the road team and basically 75% of our conference is better than your squad and would do the exact same against your schedule as you did.

FSU won a NC this way: Chickening out of the SEC and beating up on an ACC that had nobody who could compete with them.
Few people ever mention this fact. All we ever heard was how great FSU and their top 5 run was. This is why I have little if any respect for Bowden.

You beat the 4th place team from the SEC West that lost 3 games.
Quit your fricking whining. The last 3 years someone from the SEC has gone undefeated in the regular season. While its the best conference, someone usually finishes in the top 5. Sorry that South Carolina can't do that. Maybe you should quit the SEC and join the ACC where you might have a better chance

they went undefeated and finished #3.

during the 90's, they were 6-3-1 vs Florida who owned the SEC. They also play Miami ever year and many other good OOC games including teams like ND and Michigan, they played LSU a few times and dominated in bowls.

then you are an idiot. Forget the fact that what conference a school is in is not decided by the Football coach. He built a powerhouse program. Look at the talent, the ACC is not the Sunbelt.

What does that have to do with the fact that TCU played nobody this season and that every single SEC school would have gone at least 7-5 against their schedule with 6 more than likely going undefeated?

Is that supposed to be an impressive accomplishment to hang your hat on? If that's the case, I guess you must be really impressed with Connecticut since they have 6 "BCS" wins. Even Pitt has 5 and their coach got fired anyway.

OSU would go undefeated, for sure.
