Bring facts with you next time to your OSU/Big 10 argument, as opposed to conjecture. Clemson beat you with three long plays from scrimmage. During all three , their QB and RB made your front seven look like they were standing still. Now, watch those same players try to allude LSU’s front seven. Young has enough bells and whistles to warrant a first round pick. I didn’t see anyone else in that from seven that deserved to be drafted earlier than late third round, unless they substantially improve over time.

I mean again, you said those guys had more lateral quickness than anyone on OSU's defense. Your words not mine. That's a fact.

QBs and RBs often make front 7s look silly. I seem to recall an Ole Miss QB running for 200 yards on LSU in November. OSU's RB made Clemson's front 7 look silly the entire first half til he was injured. He ran for 150 yards in the first half.

And Young doesn't have bells and whistles, he's the highest rated pass rusher over the past 5 years.

This is the only true thing you've said. OSU's LBs were not great last season, and the DL had a ton of depth but not as much top end talent. Good players but not elite players.

Again it's Front 7 not From 7

Well when I first saw it and the initial analysis of it I 100% agreed it was a targeting.

I have since seen an angle somewhere that showed his eyes were up and it was first shoulder. I'll have to see if I can find it.

Regardless the answer to the OPs question is obviously no. OSU is one of the top 5 programs of producing players in the NFL, and NFL teams aren't looking for the slowest guys

I thought it was targeting. I did not agree with the reversal of the scoop and score.

Nope it’s why they dominate that shite conference. They’re the only school there that recruits the same level talent as the SEC and Clemson.

No they weren't.

Fans don't give credit to how mentally tough Clemson is.

But wasn't he still just getting Ohio guys?

It's not like 90% of his roster was from Florida.

You look at the 2016 team and the entire roster is pretty much all from Ohio.

So did he invent Midwest speed?

Or is the entire SEC getting all their players from Ohio too?

I mean on 2 of their TD drives the drive was over except for personal foul calls on OSU. On one, the targeting call, even if you say it was targeting (which I'm fine with even if I disagree), there were blatant hands to the face on Young on the same play.

On the roughing the kicker, which led to another TD for Clemson, OSU's player was ripped to the ground by his facemask by a Clemson gunner.

Those two plays aren't even the awful scoop and score call that alone puts OSU in the NCG.

If those penalties get called, even with OSU blowing redzone chances, the game isn't close. Of course OSU could have salted the game away earlier, but mistakes happen by every team every game. If the refs had done their jobs to even a competent level, the game isn't close. The total yards and score in the 2nd half if completely slanted by the refs.

No. Tressel got almost his entire roster from Ohio. Meyer recruited a whole lot more nationally than Tressel ever did.
