What are you talking about? If ULM doesn't beat Arkansas St. next week, then the game against ULL will be their last chance to secure bowl eligibility. That would be the 2nd time ULM has reached a bowl since moving to Div.1 or FBS. Also, ULL could be playing for a conference championship, right? I'm not sure if they have that secured yet or not. Either way the ULM-ULL game will be a huge one imo.

There’s a decent chance we don’t make a bowl even with 6 wins. It’s happened to us before. 3 times as a matter of fact.

It’ll still mean something for them I’m sure and it’ll mean something for us obviously as it’s a rivalry but compared to what it was looking like it was going to mean a few weeks ago…

Well in the grand scheme of college football, it won’t. But for the programs, it could mean a lot.

For us, if we can throw last night and win the next two, that means we host the SBC Champ game. Win that one, and we’re 11-2 conference champs going to (yes, a meaningless) a bowl. Considering our previous two seasons under Dez were each 6-7, hopefully if the rest of the season plays out with wins it can build momentum for the program.

A lot of us are just really bummed after last night. The chance for a Top 25 ranking rarely comes for a program like ours, so it just feels like a wasted opportunity. Who knows when we’ll be able to start another season 8-1.

Yea “meaning nothing” is an overreach from me but it feels much more meaningless than it did mid October.

For us, I just hate how predictable this collapse was after the app game. It happens all the time for this school. Get a little bit of hope that we may not be completely garbage for once than have everything sucked away in spectacular fashion. We’re fricking cursed man.

That stud RB (Hardy) of yall's is a freshman, though. Could be some good days ahead with him and the sophomore QB.

Just have to hope Hardy doesn't get plucked by some trial lawyer who's a fan of a P4 team. Happens to us seemingly every damn year.

Tulane wins out and then needs a Boise loss somewhere and Tulane might be the 12th seed in the CFP.

Boise has started to look like a team that peaked too early in the season IMO. They better hope they get CSU in the MWC title game instead of a rematch w/UNLV.

Yes. Best prorgram right now, too. More accomplished in the 2020s than LSU.
