NO DOUBT he would have been the featured back here.

Well, he never lived up to the hype at USC so are you just saying they were that much better than us? Don't see that either.

You folks are funny with JM.

With a min of 150 carries or so, he is 2nd all-time in yards per carry at USC and USC has had their share of taibacks. No I am not comparing him to the likes of Bush, Garrett, ALlen, White, Simpson, Davis, etc. Problem was he was nagged by injuries and unable to be a featured back. The closet he came was last year and he gained 1000+ yards while being far from an every down back.

to me the next Reggie Bush means a player capable of going to da house at anytime, and instills fear in opposing defenses.

Porter was still in charge of the RB rotation

How will Frank Wilson change the RB rotation? I got tired of Scott running option plays real quick.

Not the next Reggie, but

Not a bust

2nd in YPC of all USC tailbacks- ever with a min of 150 carries.

Size doesn't matter when you are as fast as this guy. Bush and McKnight could have been better if they shared Johnson's speed.

For all the hype, he was most definitely a bust.

Poor Joe should right a tell all book about what really went on with his recruitment. He could make a good bit of money if he told the truth about everything.

True. It would not paint some LSU fans in a good light.

I'll take a bust who gained 2,200 yards rushing and 600 yards receiving in 3 years.

BTW, that's more than Charles "Big Bust" Scott got in 4 years of playing and Scott having more total touches.

do you guys even know what a bust means? he just had a thousand yard season and will be drafted in the 2nd or 3rd round. thats what you call a bust? you guys are idiots. get over your hatred of the kid, LSU did just fine without him. amazing three years later some of you are still not over him choosing SC, just ridiculous

JM could've had a NC ring by playing at LSU, but too bad he rather have a free car to drive around L.A.
