obviously he runs exceptional routes in addition to having great hands. i like that he has deceptive speed as well. He's a real "team" guy who just works hard on and off the field and really gets it. IMO he's really a coach on the field and will be the qb of the receiving corps where ever he ends up.IMHO.

He WILL be the BEST WR on the field on Jan 7th!!! TOO bad they will lose!!!

If he has a killer combine, possibly as high as early 2nd. Probably expect him in the mid 2nd-early 3rd area.

Gonzales is a better pro than Shipley.

For college, perhaps. For the pros not in the top three.

He reminds me of Early Doucet. Will give a team good depth at receiver.

Maybe, maybe not. Won't know that until Jordan at the very least gets in the League and even then it might be difficult to compare depending on their situations.

They do share a very similar build and were both made for the slot. Of course Jordan's college #'s blow Gonzalez's out of the water but that's not gonna mean anything at the next level.

Nope........

This is his first year being the go to. Last year it was Quan, despite what the media said. Before him it was Quan and Sweed.

Ship is a 4.4 guy by the way. Not slow at all.

He's a gym rat. Very heady player. Smart. Not very athletic.

This is not talking shite to anyone in this thread, but does anyone else notice that people usually only compare white athletes to other white athletes and black athletes to other black athletes?

Like we've got a bunch of comparing Shipley to Welker. You almost never hear people compare a white qb coming to the nfl to D. McNabb. I think its humorous and I wonder why this is.

With his vision, awareness, and work ethic, he reminds of Ricky Proehl.

the only thing I see in him comparative to to Welker is his skin color.
