I hate these modern huge fields in the Derby. They need to cap this shite at 10-12 horses.

time doesn't mean shite. all that means is that Danzing candy went out very fast and Nyquist was able to take over and keep the pace. If that were the case Monoarchos would be better than American Pharoah and he's not.
go back and look at the race. ONE fricking horse made a move lol out of 18, Exaggarator. Everyone else literally ran around the track in sequential order. that's the definition of a shitty crop of horses. if you give a legit grade 1 horse a 45 second half mile to run into he's coming for that arse.

It's a winner, he picked 3 horses to finish in the top 2. Unfortunately when the two favored horses win the exacta doesn't pay shite.
