Strictly comparing them as college players:
DJ Augustine > Marquis Teague
Kemba Walker > Doron Lamb
Gerald Henderson = MKG
DJ White = Terrance Jones
Tyrus Thomas < Anthony Davis
Eduardo Najera, Matt Carrollm, and Corey Maggette were also better college players than anyone coming off of Kentucky's bench.

If MKG, Teague, and Davis were on I think it could be pretty close. All of those guys will be in the NBA next year and getting playing time or even starting on better teams than Charlotte. It isn't that much of a stretch to say Kentucky has guys in some positions that are better than Charlotte has
And I forgot to even mention Lamb

Charlotte can't play defense well enough to hold Kentucky to 70 points in an NBA game.

They did against the Hornets.

What if you took the best 15 players off Kentucky and Baylor's team and made one team to take on Charlotte in the same conditions?

Kemba ran fricking train on CBB last season and he is not Charlotte's best player.
Charlotte by 25+ if they played by NBA rules as you said.

Not playing defense well against other NBA teams is not the same as playing defense against a group of 19 year olds.

I think people are misinterpreting me to mean that Kentucky would somehow win.
They wouldn't. They would lose 98 out of 100 times. However, I am saying that it may be the closest comparison we've had in a while. It wouldn't surprised me at all if Kentucky kept it at around 20 if they played really well.

Charlotte by 50. Easily.
How's this work, do we also get to disable fatigue like in the video games? Do Kentucky's starters get to play all 48 minutes at full stamina?
What happens when Kentucky has to sub in some of it's bench players, who won't sniff a professional roster? Kentucky will always have some mixture of future (not conditioned) NBA players, and some non-professional players, as their lineup. Whereas Charlotte at all times will have a lineup of 5 NBA players on the floor.
Kentucky already lost to two college teams this year. It's not like they have gone 32-0 and are dominating the college ranks, and are a shoe-in to breeze to the national title like one of Wooden's teams. It would be laughable. There is no comparison.

Okay, worst case, their roster is 1-12 college standouts who are well-conditioned enough to make an NBA roster, and even if they get cut after this season, probably play in Europe. No college team can come close to saying that.

It's a good point.
People are undervaluing just how fricking bad Charlotte is, though.
