Charlotte would have 12 of the 25 best players if they were in cbb. Kentucky has 3.

Bobcats look bad because they play against better teams every night, just as Kentucky looks great because they play against worse teams every night. Put them on the same floor and it's a different story.

Charlotte wins 19 out of 20 with an average margin of 25 IMO. Whoever MKG doesn't guard out of Henderson and maggette goes for 40.

Again, you keep projecting as if all of Kentucky's starting 5 are going to be great NBA players.

The Bobcats have guys that were freakin' awesome in college - Kemba Walker, Tyrus Thomas, DJ White, Corey Maggette, DJ Augustin, and Gerald Henderson would all be the best player on most college teams right now.

Most people do.

Charlotte will suit up 12 NBA players, Kentucky will not.

Charlotte has guys who were dominant in CBB, and are better players not.

Charlotte doesn't have a team full of rookies.

Charlotte has won, what, 10 games against NBA teams this year, and they've probably beat a couple of decent teams. YOu don't honestly think Kentucky can beat decent NBA teams, do you?

This argument fails. And in fact it supports my argument. Basketball is a very flukey game. Especially if we are playing a 40 minute game. The worse team loses all the time. Lehigh can beat Duke. Norfolk State can beat Missouri. Vandy can beat Kentucky. Charlotte can beat Orlando. Kentucky can beat Charlotte.

I can assure everybody on this board -- and I doubt I would even hear any dissenting voices; if I did, they would be foolish voices indeed -- that the talent disparity between Duke and Lehigh is more substantial than the talent disparity between Kentucky and the Bobcats.

Corey Maggette goes for 40 on Terrence Jones in his dreams. Come on, I've seen both these guys play. Corey Maggette wasn't better in college than Terrence Jones. And Corey Maggette isn't any better now than he was in college. He's probably worse. He's more fragile than Marcus Camby.

The same Maggette that averaged near or more than 20PPG in the NBA?

So, I guess you got Jones being a 25ppg scorer in the NBA?

And he would have to be doing this immediately when he gets into an NBA game.

Jones would have to play the 4. Doron lamb would be on him. And no way you watched maggette in college if you think jones is better. And apparently players are regressing in the NBA?

Tyrus Thomas definitely wouldn't start for Kentucky. DJ White definitely wouldn't start for Kentucky. Corey Maggette very likely wouldn't start for Kentucky.

Insert two of Henderson, Walker, and Augustin in the open starting slots, because you can't play 6 guys.

It appears that you are alleging that all of Charlotte's players are good NBA players.

Charlotte has at least 7 former first round picks and none have gotten worse from their college days and in fact are better than they were when drafted.

No, I'm alleging that they were great college players because they would be playing a college team in this hypothetical.

You're alleging that Kentucky will have a team full of good NBA players, when we don't even really know if just ONE of their players will be a very good NBA player.

Just stop talking. You're making yourself look dumb.

CHARLOTTE IS NOT MORE TALENTED THAN KENTUCKY. The best you can say is that they are stronger physically or more experience. Nobody on Charlotte's team has as much talent in their entire body as Anthony Davis carries in his jockstrap.

You're really fricking up this thread.

I'm the one who started the thread. I think if Kentucky played really well that they could keep it semi-close, and that they could rarely win. Like once or twice out of a hundred games.

They'd get beat down most nights though. 30+ point blowouts. I don't see how you could make the argument otherwise.
