Ike, you're a moron.

Dirk DID make plenty of clutch plays in game 5 and 6. A basket over Shaq with 12 seconds to go in game 5, giving the Mavs a 1point lead. That's pretty clutch... Wade was bailed out by the refs with 2 seconds left, and that's why nobody remembers that basket. WATCH THE GAMES

The Mavs defense was ranked 6th in the league that year. Not great, but not "pathetic" as you put it.

Wade was great that series, but he was heavily assisted by the refs. He averaged 16 free throws a game people, and a handful were when he wasn't even touched. It used to be on youtube, but was removed when the Donaghy scandal surfaced last year.

When have I said DIrk is the best player in the game? I just said he is the best power forward in the game right now.

But who can take you seriously anyway, you claim to be a fan of the Hornets and LAkers... aka not a real fan at all, thus your opinions should be entirely disregarded.

But the most overhyped player is easily Brett Favre, it's not even close really.

3 MVPs and a Superbowl. Yeah, you know what you're talking about.

Lookie here moron, all I'm saying that a player who has shot 41% in his career in the Finals, and has never been the best player on a championship tema, is overhyped when people call him the best player in the game and compare him to MJ.

He is not the best player in the game, was never the best player in the game, and never will be the best player in the game unless Lebron James and D-Whistle decide to retire tommorow.

You just proved the point that Favre was over hyped. Most valuable player 3 times.. Played in all of ONE superbowl.

Favre= the epitome of overhyped.

It was pathetic in game 3 4 and 5

I never said the whole season

Dallas played exceptional defense against a very good and well coached San Antonio team

I never said you said Dirk was the best in the game

He has been the best player in the league for about 5 years. Just because big men typically dominate the league doesn't diminish what he did for the Lakers. You can say Shaq carried those teams all you want, but while Shaq was half-assing it through every regular season, Kobe was leading the team. While Shaq came into camp fat and out of shape, Kobe was the first one in the gym working on his game. While Shaq was missing FTs and lollygagging down the court on defense, Kobe was scoring in every way possible and being one of the best guards from a defensive standpoint.

Kobe isn't great because of his rings. Kobe is great because you'll be hard pressed to find a player that utilizes his talents 100% every single night out. He brought a couple of hapless teams to the playoffs and a team that had been together for a few months to the Finals last year, where he had absolutely NO help.

As for your comments about the Pistons and Celtics finals matchups, tell me who played worth a shite on his teams? Malone, Payton, and Shaq were past their primes, trying to keep up with a young and hungry Detroit team. Odom was nonexistant, Bynum and Ariza were hurt, and Gasol was soft as shite for the entire series against Boston.

Kobe is one of the greatest players of all time. He's not Jordan, but no one ever will be. However, you'll be hard pressed to ever find someone who's great on offense, defense, and at killing teams in crunch times as Jordan and Kobe.

Lebron James is the most one-dimensional player in the history of the NBA. But that one dimension will probably make him one of the top 2 players, if not the best player, in history.

Lebron's a great defender, passer, rebounder, the best fast break finisher in the game and one of the best scorers in the game, also gets to the line often.

The only knock on him right now is the consistency of his jump shot, if it ever develops it's over for the league, if it isn't already.

He's a "multi dimensional" player though.
