I'm sure the Hive will still be jam packed with true Cavs fans when Cleveland comes to town

The competitive balance of the league--which already is fairly weak--would be at its worst state.

I don't see how this boosts the prospects of an association that is hemoraging money.

He is Wade's bitch! Just like any team that followed Texas to the PAC 10 would be their bitch. Wade held his ground stayed home, bosh came and now LeBron follows. He is on Wade's team.

Smokescreen--and it's being sent out by james' camp. That's why the 'sources' are 'legit.' Don't you see there's something off when all the front office guys and players are saying lebron to new york, but sources from lebron's camp are saying miami? Lebron and his inner circle have been the most secretive entities throughout all this hoopla. Don't you think it's weird that these sources would be 'confirming' lebron to the heat 12 hours before his huge announcement? Lebron wants to keep everyone guessing (and doesn't want to trail wade by a ring for the rest of his life)-- two reasons why he will choose someone else, likely the knicks.

The Lakers with Magic and Kareem weren't bad for the NBA.

People love super teams. If they do in fact play together I am going to try and watch every Heat game I can. It is like team USA vs. the rest of the league.

lakers and celtics of the 80s were both "super teams" bulls of the 90's, yeah this is def gonna be the end of the NBA

there are already too many frickin NBA teams without enough talent to be competitive. If they cut the league by 10 teams and then the talent was distributed, think how much more competitive the league would be. I really have no interest in seeing Wade, James, and Bosh together..

this shite is getting old... A one hour program for Lebron to announce where he is going, does anybody not find that ridiculous.

You'd be one of few. People will watch this team to root for them to dominate or rooting for them to fall right on their face, either way people will be tuned in.

That bulls team in 96 had so many people watching them it was great for the NBA. I think team will have even more people tuning in.

they're going to fricking own the east atleast in the regular season. I just don't think its good for the game from a competitive stand point. I'm guessing the NBA would love it though since its losing money and this would obviously help.
