Fat
Rat-faced
Cries a LOT, like seriously a lot a lot
Probably gay on the down low
Definitely no clutch gene
Beta physiognomy

Ohio State is in their Les Miles era but instead of a lovable retard they have a gay rat faced crybaby loser.

Really?

Day's Ls:

Oregon twice
Michigan 3
Clemson
Bama
Missouri
UGA

None of those teams are like an unranked Vanderbilt.

They don’t want to discuss that they were gifted 7 points. They don’t talk about all the time mismanaged away on their final drive.

OSU fans are fine talking about that.

All those things are true. The game had a lot of crazy things happen:

1. The not overturned INT
2. The random fumble by Judkins
3. An Oregon player inexplicably spitting in a corner's face
4. The facemask penalty on OSU that led to an "onside kick" that couldn't have been planned and if it was for it to be executed was nuts
5. OSU's LT going down for the season
6. Oregon screwing up an extra point snap

And that was all in the first half

Then you had:
1. JT for some reason being a moron and crashing on a 3rd and one that let DG jaunt into the endzone untouched when the RB would have been hit by OSU's MLB in the hole
2. Oregon missing a wide open guy in the endzone for a TD
3. Oregon chasing points after the botched snap and missing another 2 point conversion opportunity
4. Howard dropping a 3rd and 4 snap that OSU could have converted and ended the game potentially.
5. The last drive where there was OPI, too many men on the field and Howard going down potentially .1 or .2 seconds before 0 and them calling it game

That is at least 10 things that happened that were nuts. about half went Oregon's way and about half went OSU's way.

it's just things at the end of the game are magnified as they are at the end of the game.

And yes, that OPI was a terrible call and none of the other stuff would have happened if the officials had held the flag in pockets.

your post isn't wrong, but it's incomplete. =the fact that UM won the natty 9 months ago with only 3 guys who were 5* on the roster really chaps their a**. OSU has had WAY more talented rosters than UM (and every other big 10 team) for the past couple decades.

they had SEVERAL guys come back this year, who were projected to go relatively high in the draft, in addition to a few high level incoming transfers and the rumored $20M salary has made this year in particular a pressure cooker

they won't have a team that's as talented and deep as this. also, urban meyer himself said that this roster might be the best roster in CFB in a decade. lotta pressure on Day to perform well this season

He lost last weekend by 1 on the road, and a lot of people think the OPI was a crap call and the 12 men on the field was bad b/c it could have been an unsportsmanlike 15 yard penalty and Howard potentially started his slide at 1 second. That's 3 plays in 20 seconds that could alter a game like that. OSU caught some breaks, Oregon caught some breaks and it was a really good game among 2 teams who people had penciled in as National Champs in August

Nick Saban broke the brains of fanbases. Fans of elite teams think that their school should play for a national championship every year and win one every other year. It ain't that easy. Day is in his sixth season at Ohio State, Kirby Smart didn't win a national championship until his sixth season at Georgia. I don't like the guy, but Ohio State is in the hunt pretty much every season. One year, he's gonna break through.

Yeah, but it's crazy to throw dirt on their season after one loss. They barely lost to the No. 2 team on the road - not only on the road, but two timezones away from Columbus. They have a real chance to play Oregon again on a neutral site (which will almost certainly have an Ohio State tilt). Right now, it looks like lf they get in the playoffs as a top 4 seed, they've got as good a chance as anyone to win it all.

I don't see how you can get rid of him yet. They're recruiting very well and his losses are to top 10 teams.

It's three time zones for the record. I don't know how much bearing that has on the game, but the road atmosphere certainly did.

Ohio State needs to take care of business against Penn St and Michigan before they even consider redemption in Indy. Obviously as fans, I can't wait for that, but Penn State and Michigan can be at this team if Will Howard has an off game and our defense gets beat over the top like they did in Eugene. It's like Denzel Burke didn't even get off the plane. Targeted 8 times, 8 catches, two long TDs for an alleged first round picks

I love how the narrative at first was “Ohio St will beat an overrated Oregon by two scores easy”

I called people out for that last week & said Oregon probably wins. Obviously they were wrong.

That poster who started a thread saying Ohio State is easy money and will win by 3 Tds even though Oregon was 34/35 at home the last 5 years....Dude doesn't know CFB and certainly doesn't know Autzen.

That said, Ohio State wins in a rematch/neutral field, they just happened to walk into a Lion's Den.

The regurgitated Pate take was correct.

NIck Saban and Kirby have really messed up the heads of what people consider a successful coaching tenure-- and even Kirby wasn't 100% safe before 3 seasons ago.

The truth is that a football coach that gets you a swing at the big games every season, isn't one you get rid of-- most programs struggle to even get those opportunities every few years.

Take enough swings with Day, and you'll likely eventually win a title. Firing day just because he hasn't connected, despite having your team in the conversation every single year, is a sign of stupidity.

That’s 06 and she was dead serious.

i don't know if they should or shouldn't, but the fact is that OSU is CONSIDERABLY more talented on paper than 10-11 teams outta 12 on their schedule each year. even UM doesn't have anywhere near the HS talent that OSU pulls in every year

that's the criticism. when you only play 1-2 teams each year that are in the same ballpark as you, and you lose those with regularity over 3-4 years, then people start getting restless

UM's recruiting finishes last 6 years (according to 247)

2024 - 19
2023 - 20
2022 - 12
2021 - 13
2020 - 13
2019 - 10

PSU's recruiting finishes last 6 years (according to 247)

2024 - 14
2023 - 14
2022 - 8
2021 - 20
2020 - 17
2019 - 14

OSU's recruiting finishes

2024 - 3
2023 - 4
2022 - 4
2021 - 2
2020 - 5
2019 - 7

I mean what are we calling regularity?

Against the Top 10 he is 8-6 over his career.

Against all of Top 25 he is 17-7. He is 61-9 overall.

His biggest problem is the Michigan losses which are about to disappear. If he somehow losses to Michigan this year yeah move on.

I didn't come back with a new narrative. OSU played like complete dog crap and somehow still almost won.

I can fully admit that. They played a C- game and deserved to lose.

I am an adult who didn't come onto a message board for 3 days. But I see I live rent free in your head as you are looking for my posts

The amount of chest pounding you have been doing for a 1 point win at home is fricking hilarious. I’m sure this definitely won’t come back to bite you.
