It was a weird game. Mangham had played a much tougher schedule, and were battle tested. Almost all of Haynesville’s games were over at half with a running clock in the second half.
Haynesville has been known forever for their hard hitting suffocating defense, and the scores this season indicated they had a traditional stout defense, but they could not tackle at all against Mangham, and Mangham looked like the tougher team.
Mangham started to wear down Haynesville’s defense in the first half. All of those explosive plays by Haynesville meant their defense was on the field a lot, and they weren’t used to being in a dogfight for 4 quarters, plus so many guys going both ways really wore down Haynesville early in the game, and Mangham kept coming.
I was really impressed with the amount of young playmakers on Mangham’s team, but they couldn’t overcome Haynesville’s explosive plays.

Iowa’s QB finally decides to run the ball but it was at the worst time. He wasn’t making it from 15 yards out he should have thrown it atleast have a better chance. Iowa 28 ND 22 halftime. ND gets the ball after half
