Tyler Lockhart from Walker threw 181 pitches in a game against Zachary earlier this year. Don't kmow what the coaches are thinking.

Does anyone know the rule about home field during the first 3 rounds of 5A playoffs? I know the lower seed get home field during first 2 rounds, but what about round 3?

It's similar to the college super regional. Three games at one site (two on day 2 if necessary). Road team is the home team for game 2. I think com flip for game three home team.

Highest seed is home field through 5A until Sulphur. Game 1 Higher seed home team. Game 2, lower seed. Game 3 higher seed. This year they awarded higher seeds with homefield advantage regardless of previous outcomes in bracket.

it's weird how a 20-1 or so team can claim underdog status...

I wonder how this is going to work? Livonia's in the playoffs now.

ETA: Looks like a side playoff game.

Easy they'll beat Kaplan - then lose to ECA...

if they get to play - LHSAA still rolling behind the scenes....

As far as the LHSAA is concerned it's not done.

If they can't enforce their own rules - LHSAA might as well cease to exist.

no that's for the courts and the state legislature... if they'd leave the LHSAA alone things would be ok

yeah.. agree choupique19 but.. if the kid was in fact ineligible - which everything I have seen and heard - he was....

this isn't gonna end well...

I heard a livonia parent going on and on about how they "self reported it" pretty sure they were being turned in by another school - the time to self report this was like other schools do - before the season - when they noticed he came from an out of system school....

incoming freshmen are not eligible where ever they go - unless they were at a legit feeder school or home attendance zone.

if this were a private school.. oh my...
