In non-select

Woodlawn/Destrehan
Carencro/Neville may not be good, but the names are big
St. James/Madison Prep

In select

John Curtis/Jesuit
De La Salle/UHigh

Bonus: Newman/Episcopal

That is SO cool. I like very old sports venues, they tie us to our ancestors, so to speak. Love it.

I’d love to hear what triggered and snowballed haynesvilles erosion over the past 20 years from one of the best programs year in and out regardless of class to an average 1A program.

Pretty sure he’s been on here in the past as well as on Louisiana Sportsline and had to swap names due to previous predictions. I mean how is Dick Head not a troll name?

Or before integration

Nevermind, after reading more of his posts, it's definitely him. Just crazy that he didn't initially say Zachary and Destrehan would win by triple digits.

Do you think the 2014 Acadiana game sapped him of all optimism? Everything went right for us that year until the Campbell injury. Hard to replicate that.

if you're in 1A nonselect, that's probably happening to your town too... people just don't want to live in those places.

they and Homer could consolidate but there's too much history there

and they did have a round 1 bye. that's not very "average"

it's not as big as our games against Lutcher for the simple fact that no one thinks we have a chance to go all the way. In 2003 and 2004 in 3A we did.

Now obviously beating WM would be huge, and we probably could, but someone mentioned our draw.

For me to believe we can go all the way, I have to see more. You're not going all the way if you can't beat what West Monroe currently is, much less the new kings of 5A Zachary and Acadiana.

now biggest game since Katrina??? definitely. we were once 5-0 and played 5-0 Jesuit at Gormley on a Saturday night. We've also played Higgins, Ehret, and Landry-Walker for district championships at home. We've played two eventual state champions in Rummel and Landry-Walker

Leaving around 8:15 in the morning. Going to make a day of it. How hard is it to do things in NOLA? Need a vaccinated card to do anything? My family has them, but not sure about the kids riding with us.

I went to the Luke Combs concert Tuesday. To get in, If you had a piece of paper with your name and the word negative, it would have worked.

Not likely.
IF BM wins tomorrow night, I might could convince my boys to go the game the following week which will likely be at Tad Gormley.

They're playing at Tad Gormley regardless of who they play next week.
