I wasn't at the game. I had someone feeding me game info. I've seen this team all year though, and know they're better than they seem at times.

maybe… but we’ll still play ball control and try to shorten the game.

I hope WM or Chalmette beats that fraud program.

Zachary is a mess right now internally in terms of fights, stabbings, pissed off parents, athletes given a pass. Watch the Townhall they had 4 days ago. Damn. Brewerton was there too soaking it all in. They were specifically calling out athletes and fighting.

Appearances they sell is a wholesome school. It isnt close.

They can beat anyone in the state, if they would just play together and smart. How in the hell no one in the state knows about Braydon Johnson is beyond me. Mathews and Walker get the pub, but Johnson is the best player on that team.

I know who he is. Many do.

That dude is nasty.

Whole team is nasty. Hard to get such talent focused against duds. They will beat acadiana if they meet.

Ouachita may make it a game for a while, but they arent beating Ponchatoula at home

Ponchy and Destrehan in dome. That will be a war.

We'd be traveling to Ouachita if we played them. Wouldn't be an easy win by any means.

As for Acadiana, if there's any team that'll get our A-game, it's them. I'm sure the team has heard the stories about our struggles against them in the mid-2010s and the pain of the 2014 loss. Plus, as I said before, that would be coach Hank's 300th win. His last milestone # victory was his 250th, a 52-16 win over St. Paul in 2014 to snap a 15-game losing streak against them.

Destrehan would be a fun opponent. I marched in the ULL and Louisiana Stars drumlines with several DHS guys. Good guys to be around.

At Walker/Zachary game last Friday. Happened during the game by a former student who was banned from campus but somehow got on campus and stabbed another student. Go watch the town hall on YouTube. It is fire.

It wouldn't be easy but your defense would be the difference maker on the road. Too much talent alone to lose.

But Ouachita surprised tonight dismantling a decent sulphur team. Think it was 40-0 at the half.

Another opponent that could be potentially scary is Captain Shreve. We'd have to go all the way to Shreveport if we played them (a week after likely traveling all the way to Ouachita) and even though they were beaten soundly by Byrd, they have a pretty good team. Plus they won't need to leave the Shreveport-Bossier area for the rest of the playoffs unless they get to the Dome. I think we're better, but us going on two consecutive long road trips to the northern part of the state could prove to be an equalizer.

Libertry overcomes 3 first half turnovers to beat Shannon 40-28 behind another big game from Kaleb Jackson. Not bad for a first year program. Their reward….St Thomas More next week at Olympia.

I said they were stingy!

St. Paul showed everyone the formula to beat Ponchatoula. Stop #1 (Johnson), and force Tribble to make plays through the air. If St. Paul puts together any offense, they win. Ponchatoula's points came off terrific special teams play.

With that being said, Ponchatoula is gonna show up every week. Plus, they are capable of winning any week.

Good for the Belaire Bengals to be competitive this season great job that was a dumpster fire for years. They’re not quite ready for the postseason yet but tip of the hat to that group.

Pretty cool that St Michael and Parkview were matched up, Eagles moving on

Woodlawn with a dominator and momentum

And Denham with the home field upset, Sid Edwards just can’t get Central past round one

This was done weeks ago when Ponchy hosted Covington.

If Covington doesn’t turn the ball over repeatedly, they give Ponchy a scare. As is, I believe it was 10-3 when Covington was in the red zone. I forget if it was a pick six or a scoop and score, but instead of being 10-10 or 10-6, it was 17-3 and pretty much game over (their offense is basically a JV).

The point is, the defensive game plan to beat Ponchy was put in place then. The issue is having the players to implement that game plan. Covington didn’t, nor did St. Paul.

Some of these schools in round 3/4...that may be a different story. Ponchy has loads of talent, but at some point, talent alone isn’t enough.

Same thing happened at redemptorist that’s how they met their demise . You recruit the best athletes in the area and you’re tapping into some bad characters too .
