He also threw a beautiful pass for a sure TD that was dropped! I think the last one was a miscommunication . He threw out route, receiver broke inside. The one to the LB earlier was just inexcusable really.

Typically the games don't start on time but a lot has to do with who plays before you. The LCA STM game ended up going over just from offense and the fact that we had two TDs, an inside, and an INT in the final 1:20.
Id still get there a little early though. Union and Many are two really well run programs, and Tacket Curtis and Trey Holly are fun to watch on their respective sides.

I thought #5 was the best player on the field last night. Anyone know any details on him. Class? Offers?
I know he is a junior this year. Here is his on3 profile.

Hardest part of this game was listening to the announcers . Both insufferable. Palermo is awful and has diarrhea of the mouth

Get ready for Union Parish in the Dome today. RB Tre Holley now owns the state rushing record & is an LSU commit. DB Cam Thomas is a Louisiana Tech commit.

This is a great/painful photo by the Shreveport Times of the Ruston kids being forced to pose with their runner-up trophy.
The agony of defeat is evident.

LSU should take a hard look at him. He has a lot of potential IMO

Don't blame the shitty concession service, parking issues, restroom issues etc. on the LHSAA, that is all on the city and the superdome management. ALso having a pelicans game on same night created issues.
Yet more reasons to start bidding out title games to regional colleges where they actually WANT to host games.

Agreed. Completely different than last year’s Ponchatoula team. That was our shot.

quote:"forced" good god, it's called manning up and honoring the game, your school, your community, your team and your opponent. It's better than about 10 years ago when one team ran off the field and didn't even stay to get their runner up trophy. It's a lesson in life and a valuable one and actually the real reason we play those games. FOrced my aching arse.

St. Charles Catholic is actually in St. John the Baptist Parish. It's all the German Coast, though. Lutcher is in St. James which I think is the 2nd German Coast.
Regardless, those River Parishes are athletics are kicking arse and their facilities are impressive. Thanks to all that plant money

Growing in defeat is a lesson lost on most.. This is a young team and they will be back. Great group of young men.

I thought that was when South Plaquemines lost to Haynesville… but there is a time and a place to honor the state runner ups. On the field after they lost isn’t it

Same, it ain’t the plant money that makes the River parishes great in athletics.

Having been on both sides as a player, coach, parent and yes seeing it as an official - that IS the time and place. In defeat the victors giving recognition to the runner up is where the healing process begins.
