Why is getting HS football scores timely so ratchet? Can’t find them anywhere.

Buddy of mine coaches at Lutcher

Lutcher lost 20-10 against Destrehan. Said Destrehan has “some absolute dudes”

The new coach doesn’t recruit at all. Wants all “lunch pail” kids if you catch my drift

Really hope that’s not the case. Was hoping catholic would start playing more out of state games and pushing top 25 in the country every year.

Supposedly they are playing a 6A from Alabama this year. But yeah, I don’t know if they will stay competitive with the old school philosophy.

EA beat Dutchtown on a late field goal.

I don't think either team got in the red zone.

Because the local media’s coverage of HS sports has gone to shite in the last decade.

Somebody's always updating scores on Twitter.

Or just go to Crescent City Sports.

The Advocate has real-time updates for BR area games.

I just don’t get this…. 1A central catholic Morgan city beats 3A Morgan city 37-0 in a jamboree.

How is that possible?? Looks like yet another long year for Morgan city high. They have sucked
For so long. I guess it makes
Sense though since like in 1985 they had about 18,000 people and now it’s barely at 10,000. Poor town is going to shite.

Biggest boomtown in America in 1980.

When they were 4A, the Terrebonne Parish schools were beating them by 5 touchdowns. And that's been the worst big football district in the state for 25 years.

You’re right about those, which was what I commented about (real time updates). I guess I was just lamenting about in depth coverage, like full articles and box scores for most of the area games.

My Ponchy Boys were down to St.Charles Catholic 17-0 at the half. Geez I knew we would take a sept back after losing 22 starters but damn final St.Charles 24 Ponchatoula 0

It’s crazy how much difference a HS coach can make at a school. My HS was 1-10 when I was a Freshman. Coach was fired and they were in the playoffs the next season. State semifinals the following 2 years. It’s not like there was a sudden influx of talent.

Barbe is legit this year

Lots of young talent but most are legit as frick baseball players and some will drop football after this year I am sure. Like the Victorian kid. He is #7 ranked junior in country and like #3 pitcher. Hit 94/95 as a soph.

This is just my opinion, of course, but Tierney knew when to walk away.
