1990 World Series
A’s vs Reds
1st inning when Eric Davis hit a grand slam off Dave Stewart

The stadium shook

was this in Oakland?

b/c that may have just been an earthquake

ETA: I see that game was in Cincinnati

it also wasn't a granny but a 2-run jack... I don't deny the loud response I'm sure a 1st inning World Series home team home run provides

same. that entire commercial break was berserk with the 4th quarter festivities beginning. it was almost 10 straight minutes of not being able to hear yourself think

Thank god I didn’t have live betting back then. I would have hammered the LSU ML from the stadium.

Altuve homer off Chapman last year to win the AL.

Or the entire 2018 NFCCG up until you know what

This is the answer. CSP asking the fans to be loud from end of precious play to the Rams next offensive snap was fully embraced. Loudest game I’ve ever been in attendance. It was unbelievable.

Probably Craig Biggio hitting number 3000. Minute Maid felt like it was swaying and vibrating in place. Believe it was a 4 hit night for him so that last at bat had all the fans anxious as hell.

Mauck to skyler vs Georgia in 03 was pretty nuts.

As far as boos go

if we're talking about negative fan reactions... this beauty that happened IN Seattle

(YouTube) "It doesn't make sense... like having a basketball team in Seattle."

the next 5 minutes are nothing but vigorous, consistent booing

heel Elias & Kevin Owens were the best

ETA: Renee Young name dropping Detlef Schrempf is a completely unexpected moment

Not exactly what you meant but the Indy 500 in the "tunnel" of the start-finish line. F1 in Monaco is also deafening as it bounces all around the buildings.

Man, I was in the student section too and that play was wild.

You probably caught some of the bourbon and coke I threw into the air.

That was peak Les Miles.

I saw The Rock beat Mankind in a ladder match for the WWF World Heavyweight Title in 1999. It was on a live Raw.

Stone Cold came out with beers right after it went off air. God damn those beers looked tasty. Talk about appealing to your audience. The attitude era was great. It was like Nascar without the regulations.

I was a lowly intern at a news station in NOLA and was helping staff coverage of the governor's race that night

they had the game on a giant screen showing from a projector at the election party... I was definitely more interested in the game

Easily the 06 cock block. My ears were actually ringing for a minute or two after. It was insane. Every single person in the stadium in one second let out all they had. Was like an explosion.

My answer, but I didn’t get to see LSU/UF 07 in person or any of the huge Saints games.

Biggest Saints game in person for me was “Hakim dropped the ball”

I was at that game too

all I can remember is the silence in the Dome when the Saints had to punt... knowing after the big lead the Saints had that they were about to give the Rams a chance to at least force OT if not win the game

I just remember seeing the ball fall to the turf out of Hakim's hands... seeing a white jersey (Saints wore white jerseys that game) jump in there on the ball... jumping out of my seat and pointing Saints ball

it seemed like an eternity for the referee to agree with me... but the absolute euphoria of knowing I had just seen the Saints win a playoff game for the 1st time in franchise history in person

03 skyler green catch.
Im 16 sitting next to the student section. Green catches the pass and I'm literally screaming in my friends ear that we should move down the steps. He never heard a word. It was literally deafening. My ears have never recovered from that explosion of sound when he caught the ball in the North endzone.
