ding!

Those two records are big records, but the media surrounding the yardage record is not even close to what it was in 2011.

The bigger news is the 55 TD passes and TD/INT differential of +45, that is 3.4TD/game and 0.625INT/game. that's how great he played this year, some teams struggle to even find a QB that can throw 3TDs in a single game.

That seems odd, considering there's a whopping total of a .28 adjustment for Manning in standard leagues and no impact for Decker. And the vast majority of fantasy leagues ended in week 16.

It's a big deal in a point per reception league.

Brees still holds the record.
Congrats...

Peyton Manning just had the best season a quarterback has ever had.

In fact, this season, Phillip Rivers was closer to being as good as Drew Brees, than Drew Brees being as good as Peyton Manning. Peyton Manning was far and away the best quarterback in the league this year and it was never even close.

If Peyton would have played a single down in the second half, this wouldn't even be a topic.

Peyton has too much class for that. Unlike Brees, who, when he set the record in 2011, was still slinging passes in the 4th quarter while the Saints were up 45-17

This thread isn't about that, so you can walk right on out of here. It's about a record being adjusted, as it should be.

WGAF. This record, whether it's held by Manning or Brees, will be broken easily in the next 5 years.

It seems like he's a few brain cells shy of being a decent troll also, but again, this thread isn't about that, or anything else.

It's about a stat that needs to be adjusted.

I don't see your point... Did you see who Denver was playing? The Oakland Raiders, their most hated rival... In Oakland... Did I mention that Oakland is Denver's most hated rival?

Either way, I don't care about a silly little passing yardage record, I just find it funny that Saints fans want it overturned. I'm sure anyone could go back and watch every pass Drew Brees made and scrutinize his record after the fact. Like I said, Peyton Manning acknowledged that he didn't care about the record, and he nor the team even celebrated after he got the record. They just acted like it was business as usual, went to the sideline, proceeded to go to the locker room, and then sat the entire second half.

Wait the raiders/broncos have been rivals lately

In 2011 the falcons won 11 games

It was at home too

It will be overturned because its the right thing

Exactly. It was obvious Manning did not care about the record.

No celebration, no acknowledgement, no second half padding of the record.

This obviously means a lot more to Saints fans/Brees than anyone else. I say overturn it for that reason alone.

I do but you parade around cheering openly for both so you deserve to be called out on it.

It's been fun but i'm done dealing with you
