I'm interested to see how you'll spin and rationalize this one away
are you claiming most black cultures in the USA today don't have a victim mentality?
am i the only person who watched the trayvon martin trial fiasco?

as I've said before, comparing Smart and a guy like Richard Sherman to Marshall Henderson doesn't help your point there, that further proves my point, to be honest, that that white guy is who these dudes get compared to.
I've already said that this single episode doesn't make Smart a thug. Read better next time.

The only flaw here is that black people have to deal with these type of people way too often in quite a few aspects of every day type situations.

What would Richard Sherman have to go through in a normal every day situation. He's always smiling. Seems nice. Obviously smart. And a classy dresser. Who the shite would do anything mean to him while he's out and about? Hardly anybody would. Like, nobody.

Back on topic. He should be suspended rest of season. Sticks and stones. Can't be a slap on the wrist for players going attack fans for calling them a bad word.

Not shocking. But, clearly something set Smart off in this situation and this fan has a history of making an arse of himself
and smart has a history of a bad temper with fans, opposing teams and media....if the fan made a racist remark he got what he deserved but I can see smart playing the race card , it happens all the time...

Is this what happened?
Oh and just because someone uses a racial slur/comment it doesn't make it okay to retaliate with violence.

any guy who posts "black people are always the victims" is not someone I'd want to be a friend of mine...at all! Wouldn't even hold a conversation with that dude.

Anyone have cliffs? Anything new that isn't in the espn article?

It was immediately determined right there in the video that what Smart did was not ok. Clearly nobody within reason is defending his actions as "ok." Whether or not his actions were understandable is a different argument entirely.

Orr, on the other hand, is the kind of guy who would provoke a college student to this level, and that is why he shouldn't be going to college events. What he does regularly at games (to the enjoyment of the Texas Tech athletic program) is worse than what Smart did last night.

Well lsu needs to revoke tons of season tickets at the box...heckling is part of the game.
I also can't see a racist supporting college hoops

Ha. Yea go ahead and send that message to the players.
"Don't go attack fans in the stands, or you"ll get a technical" that will teach them.
