Mark Cuban has a lot to say about everything, but why is he so silent about Sterling? Does Cuban want him to remain in the league?

People in the media need to frick off with this race-baiting bullshite.
It's obvious that there is a difference between this:
and this:
Nobody is going to cross the street because the man eating corn on the cob in the above picture is walking with his wife.
But people will cross the street when a person approaching looks like he came straight from the projects.
Black people don't like being in bad black areas just like white people don't like to be in bad black areas.
There is nothing racist about it.

Are you referring to the reaction to Cuban?

Because he's probably been advised by the NBA attorneys not to comment since there is most likely going to be litigation. She's such a dumb count.

TY PTM. I tell people this all the time. There's a difference between stereotyping and racism and people mostly use the word "racism" when talking about issues like this.
Racism - the belief that all members of each race possess characteristics or abilities specific to that race, especially so as to distinguish it as inferior or superior to another race or races.
Seeing a black person as inferior or dangerous regardless of the type of person they are, is racist. Cuban's response was a stereotype. Without knowing a random person, he assumes because of certain attires/body art that people are more dangerous. He didn't say "If one of my players was a black player wearing a hoodie..etc". He's forming a stereotype with limited information available.
Donald Sterling's comments were racist. He clearly pointed out black people as a whole.
And, honestly, most people would stay clear of the negative stereotypes. Businessmen don't get tattoos that are visible with a suit on and stay clean shaven. There's millions of other examples out there.
Also, Cuban's an idiot for explaining his point with those images.

Talking heads on Around the Horn are going full retard.
Bill fricking Plashcke is so faux outraged that it's hilarious. He thinks the league should "come down and come down hard" and punish Cuban for what he said. What's funny is the least offended by what he said were Jackie McMullen and Bomani Jones.
Plashcke loves to get so fake mad at this kind of stuff, it pisses me off. He actually said at one point, "If I saw a black kid in a hoodie, IIIII wouldn't cross the street." And he also brought up that the Miami Heat players wore hoodies last year for Trayvon Martin, so Cuban said that if he saw the Miami Heat in hoodies on the street that he would cross away from them.
How fricking stupid is that bullshite? That's nowhere near what Cuban said.

He's ridiculous.
Shockingly, Wilbon defended almost everything Cuban said, and basically said that people looking to be offended would be, but if you listened to what he said, it makes sense and he was actually shooting down bigotry. Color me shocked for the second time today (first was Jamele Hill).

Prejudice is inherent in our nature. At least he's being honest, and you can't trust anyone these days.

I don't have much of an issue with what Cuban said. But...
I'm uncomfortable with the idea that wearing a hoodie is enough to earn suspicion, especially when it's something that people of all races wear to keep warm.
Am I just supposed to wear sports coats and sweater vests?

He said a black kid, not a black adult. Also, I am sure it depends on how the black kid looks. If he is a skater with a hoodie that is different than a gangster looking kid with a hoodie. Its kinda common sense so I can see why he didn't elaborate.

agreed
when he said that I was picturing a person wearing a hoodie with the hood up even though its not raining or cold out.
not a random kid in the middle of winter trying to keep warm.

So do we need to teach our young children that it doesn't matter if someone looks thug, (hoodies at night on the street, pants sagging around your peepee, tattoos from head to toe, hard stares from dumb looking people) but the only thing that matters is what's in a thugs heart. So go ahead and hang out in areas with these examples. You might just learn some tough love? frick bonigga Jones.
I'm gonna raise my kids to use common sense.
