Your rankings are terrible, starting with how you dont have a single Big 12 team in the playoff when they will still get an auto bid. ASU will be #12
Indiana was 5 spots higher than USCe and 3 spots higher than Alabama. Purdue is dogshite, but it is still impressive to score as many points as your opponent has total yards. Indiana will be above both of those teams
Penn St will not be #5 after losing to Oregon. They will drop like a rock, and potentially all the way out of the playoffs if its a blowout
UGA will not be #7 if they lose to Texas. If they lose to Texas they get shifted to #9-11 spot, committee won't give a 3 loss team a home playoff game over 2 loss OSU or 1 loss Indiana

A 21 point skull dragging by the 13th place SEC team is worse than a field goal loss to the 15th place team. Not to mention Bama also has a loss to the 12th place team. Again Bama does not have better wins but the fact the committee didn't flip them after the skull dragging says they don't care about how bad you lose or margin of victory. If that was the case 3 combined losses by 13 points would mean something.

This is kind of the reason I actually was on the "don't expand the playoffs" side.
With four teams you were debating on what good team should be in. Right now we're debating on which pretty shite, undeserving team should get in. A 3 loss Bama with a god awful loss to Oklahoma just 2 weeks ago and a bad Miami team with 2 bad losses in 3 weeks should not be in the playoff discussion. Not only do losses not matter nearly as much, it looks like really bad losses don't even matter.
It is what it is and I'm going to watch, but year one and the playoffs are already drastically being watered down.
