Madison Bumgarner’s trade market now coming into focus. #Phillies have spoken with #SFGiants about him and have a greater need for a left-handed co-ace with Patrick Corbin signing with rival #Nats. #Brewers are another possible destination. @MLB @MLBNetwork

#Mets continue to talk to #Marlins about a trade for All-Star catcher J.T. Realmuto, sources tell The Athletic. Made contact again today.

That's A LOT of money for Corbin, but that is an extremely excellent signing for the Nationals IMO. They needed to do something to catch up with the Braves and Phillies and respond after the Mets trade, and this signing does it. Scherzer, Strasburg, and Corbin is a hell of a 1-2-3.

Damn, as a Phanatic, I was afraid the Mets great pitching staff might get some bats and be right back in the hunt, and now that the Nats added a solid #2/counterbalance to Mad Max.
Philadelphia sans a great add of MadBum, Harper, Machado,etc..could be back in the cellar in 2019, and praying for Trout in two years?
The Phils hyped farm pieces have had mixed results, and lacked true future superstar breakthroughs these last years.
Gotta move Santana and get Hoskins to 1st. Need an OF power bat.The egregious fielding errors gonna become even more brutal in an improving East.

I saw Segura for Crawford yesterday in headlines, didn't know about Santana part. Nice, I guess Phils eat all of the bad deal from last year?
Gotta go catch up on Crossing Broad, That Balls Outta Here, etc..
Astros interested in Haniger? I wish Philly would kick the tires, but I'm sure they did when this trade was made?

@AnthonyDiComo: The Mets are indeed engaged with the Marlins on J.T. Realmuto, though one source called it "just talk" for now. Trading Nimmo, Conforto or Rosario in a deal would be tough for them to swallow. Still, BVW wasn't lying when he said he intends to overturn every stone this offseason.

Let's make it happen captains

I'd trade Rosario honestly. Former top prospect sure, but this is the offseason when basically no one else needs a SS and you can get one on the cheap. Marlins should laugh Nimmo+ out of the room. But Rosario+ moves the needle.

I saw a report last night that Marlins already scoffed at Nimmo+ but I can't find it

Looks like the wheels are in motion on Goldy to St. Louis

Man please, PLEASE.
Goldy has long been one of my favorite non STL players in the majors, I used to trade for him every year on The Show.
BUT I want an extension with the trade.

Fans made it happen, they were relentless on ownership sitting on their arse while 3million+ push thru that turnstile yearly.
Had they done nothing, even the kool aid chuggers would of revolted, the fan base was pissed.
